Step 1: Setting up the Connection

  1. Double-click the My Computer icon on your Desktop.
  2. Double-click the Dial-Up Networking icon.
  3. When you see the Dial-up Networking window appear double-click Make New Connection.
  4. Type in Global Network Access for the name of the computer you want to connect to. Click Next to continue.

Note: Your modem should already be displayed. If it isn't, consult your Windows95 documentation for information on how to set up your modem for use with Windows95.

  1. Type in the phone number for your local Global Network Access PPP modem access pool - 290-4630.
  2. Click Next, then Finish.
